Eden Werring
Managing Director, Stakeholder Engagement
Eden leads capital raising and sustains long-term partnerships with family and institutional investors. She is a leader, connector, and strategist with three decades of experience and deep relationships across philanthropy and social impact. Among other roles, Eden served as founding Executive Director of Summer Search NYC, Steamboat Foundation, and the Tauck Family Foundation. She went on to lead her own boutique consulting firm, Eden Garden Advisory, connecting individuals, family offices, funder collaboratives, and companies to social and environmental impact strategies. A founding board member of Edible Schoolyard NYC and advisor to Good Food Ventures, she joined Grounded to align her love of farms and food with an investment firm dedicated to building a regenerative food system at scale. Eden also writes poetry, creative nonfiction, and fiction, and is at work on her first book, a memoir. She earned her BA at Yale University and her MFA at Sarah Lawrence College. She loves opera and theater, traveling in Italy, baking for family and friends, and time at home in Redding, Connecticut, where she and her family tend a garden, apple trees, chickens, and honeybees.
