Mike Denny

Mike is responsible for the operations of all farms and ranches, focused on integrating agroecological and regenerative practices across each of our holdings. He also collaborates on strategies for investing in new regions, crops, and enterprises, in addition to working with farmers who sell to our processing companies. Before joining Grounded, Mike was Vice President of Farm Operations at Lundberg Family Farms for 14 years, where he led all farming activities and was instrumental in building an organic and regenerative farming system on 12,000 acres. Mike started his career as an agricultural real estate broker, before joining California Olive Ranch as Vice President responsible for farming and then serving as the CEO of Gorrill Land Company. Mike studied Ag Business at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and is a fourth-generation agriculturalist. Mike grew up getting his hands dirty on the family farm and enjoys spending his free time with his daughter Reagan and their three Labradors, Gus, Gringo, and Daisy.
